Photos can’t show you how a stone feels, or how it looks in your light. A cut sample can — and ours are free.
How it works
- Find your stone. Browse limestone, marble, travertine or porcelain.
- Click “Request your free sample” on the product page — it goes into your basket like any order, at £0.
- Check out. We cut your samples from current stock and post them by next-day service to UK mainland addresses.
The small print (kept small)
- One free sample per product, and up to four free samples per customer — beyond four we just ask you to cover postage.
- Samples are cut from the crates we’d supply you from — but natural stone varies, so a sample shows the character of the stone, not the exact piece you’ll receive.
How to judge a sample properly
Don’t decide in the first five minutes. Put it on the floor of the actual room, look at it in morning and evening light, splash water on it to preview the sealed colour — and if it’s for outside, leave it in the garden for a fortnight of rain and boots. The right stone gets better the longer you look at it.
