FIXING MATERIALS

The difference between a tiling job that lasts thirty years and one that fails in three is usually not the tile — it's what goes underneath and between. We stock the professional fixing materials our own fitters trust, from brands including Mapei, Kerakoll, Larsen, Lithofin, LTP and FILA.

Adhesives — flexible, cement-based adhesives suitable for stone and porcelain, indoors and out. Grouts — colour-matched options for natural stone joints. Sealers — essential for natural stone; a correctly sealed limestone or marble floor resists staining and keeps its finish for years. Cleaning & maintenance — pH-neutral cleaners, intensive cleaners and rust removers formulated specifically for natural stone (ordinary household cleaners can etch a polished surface). Silicones and anti-fracture matting complete the system.

If you're buying tiles from us, tell us the room and the substrate and we'll point you to the right adhesive, grout and sealer combination — it takes the guesswork out and usually costs less than buying generically from a builders' merchant.
