Delivery costs (UK mainland)
All prices include VAT. Delivery is kerbside by tail-lift lorry with a handpump pallet truck — please read the access notes below. Your exact delivery cost is always shown at checkout before payment.

Delivery conditions — important, please read
We use a fast and reliable 2–5 day service by a national carrier. Please note the following conditions:
- Kerbside delivery: Delivery is kerbside only, by tail-lift lorry. The driver will use a hand-operated pallet truck to get your order as close to your property as safely possible.
- Specialist delivery: If you require a specialist delivery vehicle, such as a Hiab, please contact us for a price.
- Timed / next day / Saturday delivery: You can opt for timed delivery, next day, or Saturday morning delivery at an extra cost.
- Dispatch time: Goods are normally dispatched within three working days of placing your order.
- Access problems: If you anticipate any access issues, please call us on 01903 889888. The hauliers will contact you to book your delivery once your order is prepared.
Delivery information
- Condition of goods: We make every effort to ensure your stone is delivered in good condition. It will leave our warehouse carefully packed and inspected.
- Heavy goods: Stone deliveries are very heavy (most crates weigh 1000 kg each). We use a nationwide pallet system with tail-lift lorries. Crane lorry deliveries are available at extra cost. Please specify your preferred system at the time of order.
- Access restrictions: Inform us of any access restrictions (low bridges, narrow lanes, slopes, soft ground, weight/width restrictions) at the time of order. Failure to do so may result in extra delivery costs.
- Booking requirements:
- 4.1 If a booking-in time or reference number is required, provide this at the time of booking, along with a contact number, name, and date. (A surcharge will apply for this service.)
- 4.2 Your delivery will be targeted to arrive on an agreed date. If you have any problems with this date or the delivery arrives outside the agreed timescale, please contact us FIRST on 01903 889888 to resolve any issues and reschedule.
- Vehicle size: The smallest vehicle used within our network with a tail-lift is a 7.5-tonne truck.
Important notes
- Delivery instructions & signature: Any specific delivery instructions must be provided at the time of booking. No goods may be left without a signature. You or your representative must inspect and sign for the delivery.
- Driver restrictions: Drivers are not permitted to take risks with delivery vehicles and must make a kerbside delivery. Redelivery due to access issues will incur an extra charge.
- Internal deliveries: Drivers are not permitted to make deliveries inside your premises for insurance purposes.
- Full deliveries only: Part deliveries are not permitted.
- Pallet truck limitations: Pallet trucks cannot be used on uneven ground or gravel due to health and safety regulations.
- Packaging / pallet removal: Drivers are not permitted to take away packaging or pallets after delivery.
- Inspection upon delivery: Inspect the goods carefully before signing for them. Remove the wrap and check for damage. If you suspect any damage, mark “DAMAGED” on the haulier’s proof of delivery document. If goods cannot be checked prior to signing, mark “POSSIBLE DAMAGE”. Get the driver to countersign and print their name. Any claims for damages/breakages must be reported within 24 hours. Signing for goods as “received in good condition” will invalidate any subsequent claims.
FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH THE ABOVE WILL INVALIDATE ANY CLAIM.
Returns
You can return your order for any reason within 14 days of delivery under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. Please see our full Returns Policy for how to arrange a return, damage claims and exclusions.

Claims
- Where any valid claim regarding the quality, condition, or specification of the goods is notified to the Seller in accordance with these Conditions, the Seller may replace the goods (or the part in question) free of charge or, at its sole discretion, refund the Buyer the price of the goods (or a proportionate part of the price). The Seller shall have no further liability to the Buyer.
