The project
A converted flint barn asks a lot of new stonework: anything too crisp looks wrong against two-hundred-year-old walls. Tumbled limestone paving gave the Cart House a terrace that reads as original — softened edges, gentle colour variation, and a surface that will only improve as it weathers.
